Nairobi to Masai Mara: Afternoon game drives in Masai Mara Your safari will begin with a pickup from your Nairobi hotel. Depending on where you are picked up, your day will start around 7:30 a.m. The drive to Masai Mara will take about 6 hours when departing for the day’s destination. You’ll make a brief stop at a viewpoint along the way to see the rift valley’s great depression. By noon, you’ll have arrived at Masai Mara National Reserve, just in time for a delicious lunch. You’ll go on a short game drive in the afternoon. When you return from your game drive, you’ll find a freshly prepared dinner waiting for you. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep in your chosen lodging, as you will be exploring the park extensively tomorrow.
Masai Mara: Full-day Masai Mara game drives After an early breakfast, you’ll leave at 8 a.m. for a full-day game drive. The famous Big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), as well as wildebeest, giraffe, hippo, and ferocious crocodiles near the Mara river, call the 1510-square-kilometer park home. You might even witness a kill if you’re lucky. Numerous predators are attracted to the abundant resident population of zebras, impalas, gazelles, ostriches, and topis, making for an exciting game viewing experience. During the game drive, you’ll have a picnic lunch inside the park. By 5 p.m., the full-day game drive will come to a close, followed by a delicious dinner. Make sure you get some rest so you can be ready for the next day’s adventure.
Afternoon game drives in Lake Nakuru. Today’s destination is the well-known Lake Nakuru. Starting your day early and finishing a quick breakfast, you will embark on a 6-hour journey to Lake Nakuru, covering a distance of approximately 340 kilometers. You’ll arrive at Lake Nakuru in the afternoon, just in time for a delicious lunch and a few hours of relaxation before checking into the lodge.
You’ll go on a game drive early in the evening to see one of the world’s largest ornithological sites. The region around Lake Nakuru is well-known for its flamingos and diverse wildlife. The Black and White Rhinos that can be found in this park add even more awe to the place.
The day’s activities come to a close with a freshly prepared dinner and an overnight stay at your preferred lodge or camp.
Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park: You will depart for Amboseli National Park after an early breakfast. This is a 7-hour drive that takes you through Nairobi and other cities. When you arrive in Amboseli in the afternoon, you will be greeted with a delicious lunch and some free time to relax.
In the afternoon, take a short game drive in the Amboseli National Park to see the beautiful scenery and the snow-capped Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. This is a sight to behold, and don’t forget to keep your cameras ready to capture the moment.
The night will be spent in the lodge or camp of your choice accompanied by a freshly prepared dinner. Rest well for the last leg of your adventure begins tomorrow.
Amboseli National Park: Full day Game drives Today you will go on a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park, with all meals catered to you at your lodge or camp. Because Amboseli is known for its elephants, you should be able to get up close and personal with a few free-ranging elephants.
Because of the long dry season, the park’s vegetation is sparse, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. Among the African animals found in the park are African bush elephants, buffaloes, impalas, Masai lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, and blue wildebeest.
It is highly recommended that you have your camera with you at all times. The action-packed day comes to a close in the evening, and you can retire for the night with a fresh dinner waiting for you at your lodging.
Amboseli to Nairobi: Morning game drives in Amboseli On the final day of your safari, you will have an early morning game drive from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Post the game drive, the team will set out on a 265 Km drive to Nairobi.
You will be dropped off at your hotel in Nairobi. This is the time to say your goodbyes to your team after an incredible experience and a lifetime of memories.
